Wisconsin Builders Association Announces Expansion of Territories
for Mid-Shores Home Builders Association and Winnebago Home Builders Association

August 18, 2016

Expanded Coverages Means Support for Area Home Builders and Buyers

Madison, WI–In conjunction with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) announces the recent territory expansion of two WBA local associations into Outagamie County in northeastern Wisconsin, promising local, state, and national support for area home builders and buyers.

The WBA is made up of 22 local associations throughout the state of Wisconsin and represents, at the level of the state legislature, the interests of more than 4,400 members involved in the home building industry. Working together, the WBA ensures that builders and homeowners save tens of thousands each year in improved laws and regulations, and the organization’s unique 3-in-1 structure with local, state, and national representation allows members to effect change in their local communities and beyond.

Mid-Shores Home Builders Association, founded in 1998 and serving Calumet County, will now also represent the northern bordering communities of Kaukauna, Buchanan, Freedom, Vandenbroek, Combined Locks, Harrison, Kimberly, Little Chute, and Wrightstown.

Winnebago Home Builders Association, serving Winnebago County since 1990, will now serve the rest of Outagamie County. These new territories were finalized by NAHB at its midyear meeting last week in Miami.

Jodi Vandermolen, Executive Officer of Winnebago, stated, “I am looking forward to providing the home building industry in Outagamie County with all the benefits of three tier membership.” To this sentiment, Tena Hartwig, Executive Officer of Mid-Shores, added, “I am also proud to have this opportunity to grow businesses in the Fox Cities area through all the services and benefits we can provide.”

Such benefits at the state level not only include real dollar savings from advocacy efforts, but access to contracts and forms worth thousands, a complimentary legal and building code hotline, discounts on continuing education, and hassle-free member rebate programs.
